About the ERS books

The ERS Monograph is the quarterly book series from the European Respiratory Society. Each Monograph covers a specific area of respiratory medicine, providing in-depth reviews that give clinicians at all levels a concise, comprehensive guide to symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.

The ERS Handbooks are compact guides to broad areas of the respiratory field. ERS Bookshop closure and ebook availability

On 24 March 2020, ERS closed its print bookshop, www.ersbookshop.com, owing to the deteriorating international postal conditions and more particularly to the restrictions on movement introduced by the government of the UK, where the bookshop is based.

Electronic versions of many ERS books are available from this site, https://books.ersjournals.com/, or from Google Play Books, ebooks.com and the Amazon Kindle Store, as well as from many library ebook vendors.

In addition, ERS members have online access to all ERS Monographs using their ERS membership credentials.

If you ordered your book before 24 March but we have not yet shipped it, we will contact you with details of how to access an electronic copy of your book until we are able to resume shipping.

If you have any queries about a book order that has not arrived, please contact books@ersnet.org and we will do our best to give you electronic access as quickly as possible.

We apologise for any difficulty our decision causes, but we believe it is justified by our responsibility to obey the instructions of the UK government, and to ensure the safety of our staff.
