Summary:
Images of a patient with a recurrent right pneumothorax following a previous failed right VATS bullectomy and pleurectomy. a) Chest radiograph showing a recurrent right pneumothorax. b) CT chest showing the area of a previous resection of a right apical bullectomy. c) Intra-operative photograph of patient showing no evidence of pleurodesis despite a previous pleurectomy. Evidence of a prior pleurectomy is clearly demonstrated. No further bullae were identified and the patient underwent instillation of talc.
