Summary:
A 58-year-old female with Mycobacterium kansasii lung disease. The patient presented with cough, fever and weight loss. She was treated as a tuberculosis suspect initially but her sputum specimen grew M. kansasii. Chest computed tomography slice demonstrating a large right upper lobe cavity.
